Dr. William W. Widdop is a native Memphian and a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. He was selected Veterinarian of the Year in 1994 by the Memphis/Shelby County Veterinary Medical Association. In 1995, he was named Young Veterinarian of the Year by the Tennessee Veterinary Medial Association. He has served in leadership positions for both of these organizations and on the Southern Veterinary Medical Federation. He and his wife, Cheyenne Gaither Widdop, have two children, Henry and Jane. The family pet is ‘Patrick’, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
As an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion, Dr. Widdop has served on the vestry and currently serves on the Coffee House, Pastoral Care, and Endowment Committees. Dr. Widdop is also a member of the board of First Tennessee Bank, Germantown and the Children's Museum of Memphis.
Dr. Widdop’s hobbies include running and painting. He refinishes and paints furniture for The Painted Chair. He also paints on canvas. Some of his works can be found at area antique/design shops including the Palladio.

Dr. Jon D. Romines grew up in Kennett, Missouri and is a 1987 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. He became a partner in 1992. He is a past director of the Memphis/Shelby County Veterinary Medical Association. He and his wife Cindy are members of Trinity Baptist Church, Cordova where he is a Deacon. They have a son, Ian, and a daughter, Ali. The family pet is "Blackie", a mixed breed that was rescued/adopted from a shelter. They also have a parakeet named "JoJo" and several salt water fish. |
Dr. Wendy Wolverton joined Germantown Parkway Animal Hospital in 1999 after graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She is an alumnus of Collierville High School and a member of the Collierville United Methodist Church. Dr. Wolverton’s hobbies include reading and bargain hunting at garage sales. Her husband, Robert, is a talented artist whose works can be seen at robertwolvertonjr.com. They have a son, Chase Tucker Wolverton. They share their home with a dachshund (Lily), a sheltie (Katie), two cats (Shirley and Stinky), and a fish. |
Dr. Angie Zinkus graduated from the Hutchison School in 1995. After receiving her BS degree in Biology from Rhodes College in 1999, she worked as a veterinary technician at GPAH with the hope of one day working there as a doctor. Her dream was fulfilled in 2007 when she graduated from Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine. She was vice-president of her veterinary class and received the AVMA Auxiliary Award for the outstanding senior veterinary student.
Dr. Zinkus’s family includes her father, Peter Zinkus, her mother, Cathy Zinkus, two brothers, Tim and Mike Zinkus, and two sister-in-laws, Ashley and Emily Zinkus. In her spare time Dr. Zinkus enjoys running, golf, playing with her dog Sambo, and spoiling her nephews, Trevor, Harry, and Jake and her niece Sidney. Dr. Zinkus is proud to be a member of the GPAH family! |
